Stephen D. Riser, 51, of White Plains, MD passed away on July 31, 2015 while vacationing in Sturgis, South Dakota.

He was born on June 29, 1964 in Alexandria, VA. He was preceded by his father, James O. Riser Jr. He was an avid collector of Nascar memorabilia, his favorite driver was the late Dale Earnhardt. He was a diehard fan of the Washington Redskins, loved shooting pool and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He is survived by his mother, Brancie Riser; brother, Jamie Riser and wife, Angie; two nieces, Nicole Bishop and husband, Jack and Jessica Riser and step-niece, Amanda Hopkins; and two grand-nieces, Peyton and Alyssa.

There will be a gathering of friends on September 9, 2015 at Raymond's Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646 from 5:00–8:00 pm with a memorial service at 7:00 pm.
