Stephen William Woods, born October 24, 1963, passed away at the age of 60 on July 9, 2024.

Steve had a heart of gold and a love for his family and friends. Steve loved to go fishing and spend time with those he held near and dear to his heart. He was a gentle man with a kind soul, a free spirt, a man of faith and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Steve is survived by his loving mother, Carole; his son, Tyler; and many friends who became family. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

HIS JOURNEY JUST BEGUN

Don't think of him as gone away

his journey has just begun,

life holds so many facets

this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting

From the sorrows and the tears

In a place of warmth and comfort

where there are no days and years.

Think of how he must be wishing

That we could know today

How nothing but our sadness

can really pass away.

And think of him as living

In the hearts of those he touched…

For nothing loved is ever lost

And he was loved so much.
