Steven Arthur
Bradley
Apr 26, 1976 — Nov 18, 2020
Rapid City
Steven Bradley served in the United States Air Force for 22 years, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant in 2019. While he served as a Communications Technician, his time as a First Sergeant reinforced his passion of taking care of his fellow servicemen and women.
Called "Bradley" by those closest to him, he was a modern Renaissance man with interests spanning a spectrum only he could define. He could often be found hunting, riding motorcycles, cooking amazing meals, playing darts or Dungeons and Dragons, or delving into steampunk or Star Wars fandoms. All the while, he found time to enjoy a range of music styles, building LEGO, and was always on the lookout for his new favorite type of whiskey. Most of all, Bradley loved nothing more than spending time with his wife Michelle—whom he often accused of giving him "cooties"—and his pride and joy, son Declan, who always brought a smile to his eyes.
He is survived by his wife and son of Rapid City, his loving parents Lois and George (Jeff) Bradley of Center Harbor, NH, brother John Bradley of Holderness, NH, and an extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout the US and Canada. Not to mention his extended Air Force family, who he served with through many assignments all over the world.
Without a doubt, Bradley's mission of empowering others and ensuring they knew their own value was his greatest gift to the world. He will be greatly missed, but his legacy will live on in the lives that he touched. Those he blessed with genuine friendship have promised Michelle they will take up Bradley's mantle and help her make sure Declan grows up into his full geeky potential.
