Sturgis - Steven E. Walls, 56 of Sturgis passed away Sunday, February 26, at his residence in Sturgis, after a courageous battle with cancer. Steve was born Feb 10, 1956 at Fitzsimmons AMC, CO to John and Marlyn Walls. He graduated from Folsom High School in 1974. Steve served his country in the USAF for 10 years from 1976 to 1986. He held various jobs, but his favorite being a Bus Driver for the Douglas School District. Steve was an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow. He was a member of the SCA and an avid biker. Survivors include his wife, Allison Walls, Rapid City; a daughter, Danielle (Rob) Ferguson, Erie, PA.; two sons, Morgan (Rachel) Walls and David Monington, Rapid City; parents John & Marlyn Walls, Sturgis; two brothers, Lance (Tina) Walls, Sturgis and Bill VanBrocklin, Casper, WY; two sisters, Stacey (Bill) Olson and Sabrina (Rob) Compagno both of Sonoma, CA and two grandchildren Melissa and Tucker. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff Walls and Chris Walls and his grandmother Joey O. Evans Upon his request cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
