Steven Paul Taffe, 67, of Custer, SD, passed away March 24, 2022, at the Monument Hospice House in Rapid City, SD.

Steven was born August 26, 1954, in West Fargo, North Dakota, to Thomas Taffe and Joy (Moser) Taffe.

After high school he went to work in food and beverage until 1979, when he hired on for the Burlington Northern Railroad. The job he loved the most was driving semi-truck delivering supplies throughout the railroad.

Survivors include his wife, Janis (Lehman) Taffe; son, Steven E. Taffe (Brandee Frimann); granddaughters, Gracia, and Reenah Taffe, Miniature, NE; stepson, Zachariah Franzen, Rapid City, SD, sister, Sherry (Ron) Trottier, Park Rapids, MN, niece, Amy Trottier; and nephew, Joey Trottier and family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Tom; mother, Joy (Moser); and brother, Eddie.

A celebration of life will be this summer at Custer, SD, the date to be determined.
