Sydni Dee (Sunding) Hayford 61, of Spearfish, SD went to be with the lord on November 6, 2020 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Sydni was born in Spearfish, SD on March 16, 1959 to Martin and Doris Sunding and lived in the northern hills for the entirety of her life.   After graduating from Spearfish High School in 1977, Sydni attended Western Dakota Vo-Tech where she received her certificate as an Office Professional.

On May 25, 1979, Sydni married her husband of 41 years, Dale Hayford. To this union two sons were born, Derek and Tate.

Sydni loved spending time with her family and had a strong passion for her Christian faith.

Sydni is survived by her husband, Dale; sons, Derek (Amanda) of Spearfish, and Tate (Jen) of Madison, SD; grandchildren, Alexis, Kenadi, Hallie, Presleigh, and Luke; five sisters, Sherry Vail, Peggy Lewis, Kathy Isaak, Jolene Sunding, Bonnie Andersen; and multiple other family members and friends that held a special place and bond in her heart.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother.

A celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at 1025 N. 8th Street in Spearfish.
