Sylvia B. Funell, 81, Rapid City, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, at Beverly Health Care Center in Rapid City.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Funell, Rapid City; one daughter, Beverly Urbaniak, Union Center; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Oscar Funell, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis and one hour before services Friday at the church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at First Presbyterian Church in Sturgis, with the Rev. Harold Delbridge officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis.

A memorial has been established to the American Diabetes Association.
