STURGIS - Jack T. Hoshino, 87, Sturgis, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at Sturgis Regional Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Tae; one son, Dan Hoshino, Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Cindy Mortensen, Albuquerque, N.M. and Candy Benne, Rapid City; three sisters, Rose Shimazu, Montebello, Calif., June Imamoto, North Hollywood, Calif. and Emi Doi, Laguana Niguel, Calif.; one brother, Ben Hoshino, Huntington Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Denzel Nonhof officiating. Inurnment, with military honors provided by Sturgis Veteran's Honor Guard, will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
