Tara Jeanne Waterson, 66, Ft. Peck, MT, died Monday, March 18, 2013 at the hospital in Billings.

Visitation will be noon until 8 p.m. at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis on Thursday with the family present from 4 until 7 p.m.

Committal services will be 10:30 a.m. at the Sunset Cemetery near St. Onge, SD with Pastor David Baer officiating. Family and friends may gather at the cemetery.

Tara was born April 8, 1946 at Scottsbluff, NE, to Robert and Jean (Beitel) Meyers. She attended the Vo Tech school in Denver where she met her future husband.

She married David William Waterson at Renton, WA on May 18, 1966.

They lived in Northern Idaho until moving to Lead, SD. Tara was involved in Jobs Daughters, bowling and raising her family.

In 1993 they moved to Ft. Peck, MT where they operated the Marina. After retirement she planned to move to Spearfish.

Tara enjoyed visiting with friends, cards, and darts.

Survivors include her mother Jean Meyers, Renton, WA: sons, Kenny (Lorrie) Waterson, Billings, MT, Kevin (Pamela) Waterson, Spearfish, SD; daughter, Keyra (Scott) Comer, Spearfish, SD; brothers, Jon Meyers, Renton, WA, Steve (Debbie) Meyers, Renton, WA; grandchildren, Brendon and Tyler Waterson, Jenna, Justin and Jake Waterson, Hunter, Kenna and Connor Comer.

She was preceded in death by her husband David; father, Robert Meyers and her grandparents.
