Teri Lee Bestgen, 58, of Lewistown, MT, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 in Lewistown after a long battle with COPD.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at Kinkade Funeral Chapel with Rev. Don Brendtro officiating. Burial will follow at the Bear Butte Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 12, 2012 from noon to 9:00 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

Teri was born December 12, 1953 in Huron, SD, to Kenneth and Grace Hauge. She spent most of her life in Sturgis and the Black Hills, only living in MT since 2005.

Teri graduated from Sturgis High School in 1972. She married Leo Bestgen on September 2, 1972.

She was gifted with a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed playing the piano and reading.

Teri was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Cindy.

She is survived by her son, Branden (Laura) Bestgen; grandchildren, Kadin, Brooklyn, Tyana, Zachary, and Grace; daughter, Jennifer (Thor) Brendtro; grandsons, Kaleb and Joshua; her brothers, Todd (Mitzi) Hauge and Tim Hauge, both of Henderson, NV; and her sister, Tami Hauge of Billings, MT.
