Terrence Mathew "Terry" Lee, 65, Deadwood, died Monday, October 1, 2012 at his residence surrounded by family.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church in Lead, SD, with Pastor Joe Bailey officiating. Inurnment follows at the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Deadwood.

Memorials have been established in Terry's name at Dakotaland Federal Credit Union in Deadwood. Memorials may also be made to Hospice of the Northern Hills and the Assembly of God Church in Lead.

Terry was born December 24, 1946 at Deadwood, SD, to Kenneth R. and Helmi (Aijala) Lee. Terry grew up in Deadwood.

Terry married Margie Gibson at Lead, SD, on June 4, 1967.

He was employed by the Homestake for 17 years. He worked as a contract miner and also as a motor man. He worked at Alco as a group manager until retirement in 2000.

Terry liked hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his granddaughters. He enjoyed working on old cars, especially his '51 Chevy. He also cherished his dog Shotsie.

Survivors include his wife Margie Lee, Deadwood; sons, Travis (Jenna) Lee, Rapid City, Brandon Lee, Deadwood; daughter Desiree (Jamie) Timm, Rapid City; brothers, Rick (Gloria) Lee, Bremerton, WA, Lance Lee, Alamogordo, NM; sister, Diana (Jack) Walther, Milwaukee, WI; also four grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
