Terry N Stephens, age 57, of South Dakota, passed away in his sleep on March 9, 2015 at the Dept of Veterans Affairs, Ft. Meade, SD.

He was born on Feb. 5, 1958, to Len K and Mertie Stephens, formerly of Ashton, ID. Terry graduated from high school early so he could join the military.

He leaves behind his best friend and soul mate, Julie Bouzek, of 13 years; his daughter, Shannon Michelle, of Minnesota, and his three brothers and two sisters: Mike (Rhea); Kenneth (Jennifer); Sam (Lavern); twin sister, Sherry (Fred); and Dana, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both parents and two sisters, Pam and Diane.

After retirement in 2006, his hobbies were camping, fishing, cheating at poker and going on trips in his Rhino with Julie and his dogs,

A memorial service was conducted on March 12 at the Black Hills National Cemetery with full military honors. Interment was under the direction of Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at the VA Hospital Chapel at Fort Meade. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery.
