Terry Westmoreland, a resident of Rapid City, SD, died on August 28, 2021, at the age of 65, surrounded by his family.

Terry was born in Oklahoma City, OK, on November 22, 1955, to Linda and Alvin Westmoreland. While growing up, he loved riding horses, going to church with his family, and making memories with his sister and cousins. Terry lived in Moore, OK, for most of his younger years until he moved to Kansas, where he met the woman of his dreams. Terry married Kathrina on July 2, 1997, and on the same day, he gained his three beloved children. Terry was a devoted father and an avid follower of Christ. He enjoyed meeting with his Church family weekly, having bible studies, going out for meals, and worshiping his Father, Jesus Christ. He loved nothing more than being around his family and enjoyed every moment with his children and grandchildren. Terry enjoyed cooking, reading, hiking, driving in the hills, going to church, watching movies, especially black and white films, and spending time with people he loved.

Terry is survived by his love, Kathrina Cline of Rapid City, SD; his children, Christa Biever and family of Rapid City, SD, Gretchen O'Grady and family of Sturgis, SD, and Kip (Katelyn) Cline and family of Black Hawk, SD; his sister, Karen Westmoreland of Moore, OK; his niece, Hannah Westmoreland of Yukon, OK; his aunts, June McFarland of Moore, OK, and Gail Eubanks of Choctaw, OK; his cousins that he admired deeply; and twelve grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Linda Nelson Westmoreland; his dad, Alvin Westmoreland; and his cousin, Carrol Montgomery Stanley.

A family memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life is planned for Friday, September 10, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at Hills of Grace Fellowship in Rapid City, SD.
