Rapid City - Theresa L. Atkinson, 51 of Rapid City, died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Survivors include two sons, Thomas Atkinson, Sioux Falls and Timathy Mortimer, Atwater, California; three brothers, Carl Atkinson, Jr., Derrick Atkinson and Manuel Garcia all of Rapid City; a sister, Yolanda Janson, Rapid City; two grandchildren, Kai Aden Atkinson and Dometrius Atkinson. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl L. Atkinson, Sr. and his paternal and maternal grandparents. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at St. Charles Church in St. Francis, SD in the spring. Inurnment will follow at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery.
