Thomas Gerard Fischer, 58, passed away peacefully at home in Deadwood, South Dakota, on April 6, 2025. He was born in Norwalk, Connecticut then moved to Brooklyn, NY at the age of 8 until moving to Deadwood in 1992. Tom was a successful private businessman and innovator who brought creativity and dedication to everything he pursued. He was deeply passionate about spending time with his kids and coaching their little league baseball teams. He cherished every moment he spent with his family.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Fischer; his two sons, John and Steve; his brother, Mark; and his sister, Susan. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Patricia. A devoted community member, Tom volunteered to coach their little league baseball teams, inspiring young athletes with his wisdom and encouragement.

A prayer service will be held Thursday April 10th at 7PM and funeral service will be Friday April 11th at 2PM, both at St Ambrose Catholic Church in Deadwood. Tom was a loving father, husband, and brother who was always there to help a friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lead Deadwood Baseball Association in Tom's memory.
