Timothy James (Fay) Hines, 22, Sturgis, died Saturday June 17, 2006, near Vale as the result of a vehicle accident.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis with the Rev. John Tesnow officiating. Private family burial services will be at a later date.

A memorial has been established.

Tim was born Jan. 5, 1984, at Belle Fourche. He was raised in Sturgis and the Black Hills Area where he was homeschooled. He received his diploma in 2002.

Tim was active in the Western Dakota Home School Group, 4-H, High School and 4-H Rodeo.

He worked in Deadwood and joined the Deadwood Volunteer Fire Department. Tim trained for many hours to be certified in various jobs within the fire department, including Wildland Firefighting. He worked construction for several companies. He also worked for Integrity Meats in Belle Fourche and also was a brand inspector. At the time of the accident he was working on a farm.

Survivors include his mother and dad, DeAnna and Harold Fay, Sturgis; two sisters, Teri Nelson, Boise, Idaho, and Sherri Fay, Sturgis; his fiancee, Jazmine Tarrant, and her children, Mathew and Tanya Rae, Belle Fourche.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
