Toby was born August 19, 1982, in Gillette, WY, to his loving parents, John and Carol Marvin.
He spent his younger years growing up on the Durham Buffalo Ranch in Wyoming along with his older sister, Dawn (Brian) Morgan, older brothers, John Marvin, Jr. and Melvin (Krista) Marvin, and sisters, Jessie (Mason) Abell, and Dorothy Marvin. The family moved back to Sturgis in 1988, where he attended school, and graduated from Sturgis High School in 2001. He was a cheerleader, played football for two years, and also participated in school plays.
Toby learned to work on cars from his dad, and enjoyed hunting, camping, and fishing. He had a zest for life and held many jobs over the years, including working at Burger King, working as a cook and slot tech at Cadillac Jack's, driving truck for Coke and Sysco Foods, and spent the last two years with WaterTree Pool and Spa.
We are so terribly going to miss you, Toby. All our love! From your mom, brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, and so many friends.
Toby Tom Ted Tyler Marvin, 36, of Sturgis, passed away on June 3, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Marvin; grandparents, Henry and Dorothy Ulrich, and Tim and Johanna Marvin; aunt, Connie; and cousin, Tim Ulrich.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis with Pastor Ozzie McDaniel officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
