Obituary

Tracy Kent Goeringer was born at Belle Fourche, SD, on May 8, 1968, to Jerry and Mary (Brewer) Goeringer. He attended and graduated from Newell High School in 1986. He attended Wyoming Technical Institute and also Black Hills University at Spearfish, SD. Since, he had joined his family in the farming, trucking, and spraying business.

He was a member of the Nisland Community Church where he served as a trustee, a member of Bear Butte Flying Club; Future Farmers of America; was a member of the N. Club in Newell High School and voted outstanding Defense Player in his senior year after 4 years lettering in football. Also, Tracy was the Christmas Ball King his senior year at Newell High.

Tracy was active in Feed the Children Foundation and was a bull rider in amateur rodeos in the area.

Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Mary Goeringer of Newell, SD; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Jamie Goeringer of Pheonix, and Todd and Cindy Goeringer of Belle Fourche; and three nieces, Julia, JoAnne, and Kirsten; his paternal grandmother, Hattie Mae Goeringer of Chattanooga, Oklahoma; a special friend, Shanna Newland of Colony, Wyoming; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, O.V. Goeringer, and maternal grandparents, Jess and Hattie Brewer.

A memorial has been established to the Nisland Community Church and the Feed the Children Foundation.
