Trisha Marie Barkley 29, Rapid City, SD, slipped into heaven on June 5, 2023at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City. She came into this world on February 13,1994 to Kim Orelup (Barkley) and Lyle Robinson Jr. She was a quiet little baby until the age of 3, then all hell broke loose. Trisha was strong willed as a child, with hair down to the back of her knees. Her sister Tara was older, but Trisha was still the boss of Tara's friends, her friends, and anyone else she was with.

Trisha had many friends as a kid and gained so many more throughout the years, but only had a handful of true friends. Trisha loved her family, especially her aunt Sam and uncle Robert. Trisha and Tara spent most of their time in good ol' Blackhawk with their cousins. The Barkley girls' happiest times together were summer days spent fishing and swimming at the lake until the sun went down.

As she became a young woman she got into hair and makeup. Summer or winter, she was always rockin' a tan, and had the biggest purse with everything she ever "needed". Trish was a gypsy soul, and her heart was always there for everyone. Whatever she had was yours, if you wanted it. She would help anyone and loved everyone. If she was mad at you, she loved you more. If she owes ya any money, too bad, take it up with her later.

We lost Trisha too soon. She was bold, funny, fearless, and full of life. Everybody is going to miss "The Trish". She will always hold a special place in all our hearts. It wasn't supposed to be this way.

Trisha is survived by father, Lyle Robinson Jr; mother, Kim Orelup (Barkley); sister, Tara Barkley; brothers, Rob McMichael, Jeremy Corcoran; companion, Compass Barkley; uncle, Robert Rosales; aunts, Sherry Thomas, Georgie Andersh, Lisa Beaird, Sheila Wickman; and several cousins.

Trisha was preceded in death by grandparents, Clayton and Janice Barkley; Lyle and Juanita Robinson Sr.; aunts, Sam Rosales, Peggy Larvie; uncles, Randy Robinson and Rob Brooks; cousin, Autumn Holt; special friends, Izzy Broom and Joe LeCompte.

Celebration of life will be held at Destiny Foursquare Church Friday June 16, 2023, at 12pm.
