Tristan James Rayburn, also known as "TJ" and "Bravo", 28, passed away Friday, August 20 ^th , 2020 in Spearfish, South Dakota.

TJ was born on March 17 ^th , 1992 in Tucson, Arizona to Julie Ann Rayburn. He and his older sister, Corey Beth "Cici" Rayburn both grew up and attended schools in the Tucson area. In 2013, TJ joined his friend, Jose "Joey" Dominguez, in the Black Hills of South Dakota where he began work for Dakota Sealants and later with Centennial Homes as well as other "odd" jobs. It is here that he met Amber Neyhart and had their beautiful daughter, Seren Isla Rayburn.

TJ loved his people, his art and his music, but most of all he loved his daughter. He would never miss an opportunity to spend time with her and was always making sure to include her brother, Lathen, also. His laugh was infectious and his heart was big. He was always willing to help a friend or someone in need, without judgement. For these reasons and many others, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

TJ was preceded in death by his mother, Julie; his sister, Cici; and his good friend, Joey.

He is survived by his daughter, Seren and her mother, Amber (Eli and Lathen Bueno); his aunt, Suzie (Elizabeth) Romero and their daughters, Chelsea Bolen and Sadie Verde; his dog, Homie; his niece, Julianna and nephew, Eric; and numerous friends/extended family including, Sam Webb.

Private memorials are being held in Arizona and South Dakota on separate dates.
