Troy James Wilson, 46, Wright, WY, formerly of Sturgis, passed away, January 18, 2018, at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, after collapsing on the job site.

Troy was born, February 17, 1971, in Rapid City, SD, to Arthur and Bonnie (Kopecky) Wilson. He was involved in the family business then at the age of 17, he moved to Hulett, WY, and was employed with Neiman Sawmill. Troy also worked for Western Gas (Anadarko), American Colloid, Wood Group, and Pegasus Optimization. He was married, and later divorced, to Mandee Conzelman, to this union was born their daughter Staysha Wilson. Troy and Staysha continued their journey together; she was the "Light of his Life"

He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. He enjoyed spending time with friends, family and co-workers, and times well spent in Mark Strohschein's shop with Grant Schlidt and many others playing games and handing them tools as they worked on vehicles. Troy was very passionate with everything he did.

Troy is survived by his daughter, Staysha Wilson; fiancee, Misty Jutting, and children, Bobby and Brady; mother, Bonnie Wilson; sisters, Tammy Halvorsen, and children Devin, and Adam; Tracy Wilson and son, Toby; Terri Wilson- Roden (Johnathon Tate) and sons, Joshua Roden, and Blake Tate, all of Sturgis; brother Ted (Jennifer) Wilson, and children Anissa, Rylan and Jaeden, Rapid City; and niece, Destiny Wilson, Pierre.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Wilson; grandparents, aunts and uncles, special uncle "Smoke" Kopecky; father-in-law, Roy Conzelman; nieces, Tanlynn, and Justice Roden, and special friend of the family Mike Rogge.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, January 26, 2018, at the Sturgis Community Center in Sturgis with Pastor Harold Delbridge officiating. Inurnment will be at Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis at a later date.
