On April 17 in the year of our Lord 2018 Virginia Bau was unexpectedly called home to her eternal rest by Our Heavenly Father.

Virginia was born to Sophia and George Marchuk in Detroit, MI. She married Chester Bau on January 13, 1945. In 1947, Chester and Virginia moved to Four Corners, WY, where they raised sheep on a family ranch. In 1950, they moved to Osage, WY, where they raised their family. In 1997, Virginia moved to Newcastle, WY, where she shared a home with her mother, Sophia.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Ann Oliver, North Carolina; sons, David (Bonnie), Danny (Kim), John, Joe, Steve, and Jim, all of Osage and Newcastle; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chester; and her daughter, Shirley Ann.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in Osage at the former Beer Hut & Store, next to the Osage post office. A graveside service will follow at Boyd Cemetery at Four Corners, WY.
