Virginia Lee Williamson, 86, Spearfish, died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at Spearfish Regional Hospital.

Visitation will begin Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

Graveside services will be held Friday, April 23, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Bear Butte Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at Kinkade Funeral Chapel prior to leaving for the cemetery.

Virginia was born September 14, 1923, at Vale, SD, to Wesley "W.P." and Henrietta (Rysdam) Williamson. She grew up and attended school at Vale. She attended Black Hills Business College where she obtained her degree in accounting. She worked in Rapid City before moving to Texas where she lived for 5 years. Virginia returned to Rapid City and worked at Knecht Lumber as a accountant until her retirement. She moved to Spearfish in 2001 where she has lived since.

She is survived by one sister, Mabel Trohkimoinen, Spearfish; one sister-in-law, Doris Williamson, Sturgis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, and three sisters.

A memorial has been established.
