Walter Lee Long, 88, Lead, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Committal services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Black Hills National Cemetery with military honors.

Family and friends are asked to gather at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis prior to leaving for the cemetery.

Survivors include his sons Robert Long, Gillette, WY, Richard Long, Summerset, SD, Ralph Long, Lead, William Long Lead; daughters, Janet Pearson, Lead, Karen Medeiros, Fall River, MA, JoAnn Koch, Lead; one half brother, Louis Ondrosic, Sacremento, CA; also 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
