Walter E. Sundstrom, 77, of Nisland, SD, died May 26, 2015 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Walter Erwin Sundstrom was born May 12, 1938 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota to Charles and Eulalia (Wier) Sundstrom. Walt grew up in Mud Butte, graduating from high School in Newell.

Walt was a member of the I.B.E.W., and traveled several states doing power lineman work. In his spare time, he could be found fishing, hunting or collecting rocks.

He will be sorely missed by his sons, Blaine (Lori) Sundstrom of Billings, MT, Charles Sundstrom of Huntley, MT and Guy (Alaloa) Sundstrom of Worden, MT; 4 grand- sons; 1 granddaughter; 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Walt was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers; 4 sisters and other extended family & friends.

A celebration of Walter's life will be held on Saturday, May 30 at 2:00 pm at the Belle Fourche City Park. Condolences may be made to the family at kinkadefunerals.com
