Obituary

Wilbur F. Armagost, 89, passed away Sept. 20, 2015.

"Bill" Armagost, the son of Wilbur and Izetta Armagost, grew up in Cat Creek, MT, and is survived by his wife of almost 20 years, four children, and their families, his sister,11 grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Naoma Knudsen Armagost, and his brother, Clark.

Bill served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was the pastor at several churches including First Baptist Church of the Northern Hills in Deadwood until his retirement. Bill was a backyard mechanic and carpenter. He enjoyed reading, woodworking and the beauty of the Black Hills, but above all he loved the Lord and his family.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at First Baptist Church of Rapid City.

Interment will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.

A memorial has been established to the Retired Ministers and Missionary Fund.
