William (Bill) Harmon, 80, of Belle Fourche, SD formerly of Lavina, MT, passed away peacefully at his home on June 12, 2025.

He was born August 27, 1944, in Roundup, MT, to Harry and Beverly (Hansen) Harmon of Lavina, MT, and graduated from Lavina High School. Several years later, he married Kathleen Kiner of Roundup, MT, and had three sons who all grew up in Big Timber, MT on the family farm. Later in life, Bill married Carol Stephan and they lived in Silver City, NM, and most recently they resided in South Dakota.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Beverly, and his brother, Dale. Survivors include his brother Steve (JoAnn), 3 children, Billy, Fred (Marie), and Mike, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, taking care of his animals, attending rodeos, cooking, completing woodworking and carving projects, and growing vegetables in his garden. He was also known for lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

Scattering of ashes and a private family remembrance will take place in MT at a later date.
