William Elton Neiss, Jr. was born on June 2, 1980 in Yankton, SD to William E. and Judy (Warbonnet) Neiss, Sr.
William had five beautiful children, Shanice, Anyssa, Gianna, Kaliyah, and Memory. He was a devoted father and loved his kids dearly. He loved to watch MMA and in his younger years, he played basketball. William loved to make people laugh, and because of this he was an administrator for the Facebook page, North Rapid Funnies. Above all, William cherished the time spent with his family and friends, and he will be truly missed.
William Neiss, Jr., 40, of Rapid City, died Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at the Monument Health Rapid City Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Erin Provancial; his children, Shanice, Anyssa, Gianna, Kaliyah, and Memory; his mother, Judy Neiss; sisters, Fay (Shawn) Shaw, Julie (Emerson) Bieber, and Laura Neiss; and numerous nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.
William was preceded in death by his father, William Neiss, Sr.; and his sister, Memory Neiss.
An all-night wake, beginning at 6:00 p.m., will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the Woyatan Lutheran Church in Rapid City, with Jonathan Old Horse officiating.
A second all-night wake, also beginning at 6:00 p.m., will be held on Wednesday, December 16, at Judy Neiss's residence in South Antelope, SD with Duane Ice leading the spiritual prayers.
Inurnment will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in Mission, SD.
