William (Bill) R. Orthouse age 78, beloved brother of Delton Orthouse, passed away April 22, 2025, in Rapid City, So. Dakota.

Bill is survived by his brother, Delton Orthouse and cousins, Jackie, Joe and Patti.

Born in Kearney Nebraska on January 04, 1947. Bill was in the 1965 graduating class of Cathedral High School. Upon graduation, Bill enlisted in the United States Navy. Bill served with the VS27 Squadron aboard the USS Randolph CV15 until 1971. After his military service, Bill worked for the City of Rapid City. Bill enjoyed getting together with his mom and friends at the Moose Lodge and VFW. Bill was active in the VFW Honor Guard for veterans funerals.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William P. Orthouse and Evangeline Orthouse.

Burial will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery.
