William Leo Rainbolt, 82, Newcastle, Wyo., died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at the Ft. Meade VA Medical Center.
Following his wishes, his body has been cremated and no services are planned.
William was born Oct. 8, 1924, at Garfield, Kan., to Ira and Clara (Fenton) Rainbolt. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 until 1945.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Rainbolt, Newcastle, Wyo.; four sons, William D. Rainbolt, Newcastle, Wyo., James A. Rainbolt, Gillette, Wyo., Robert Rainbolt, Newcastle, Wyo., and Tomas L. Rainbolt, Torrington, Wyo.; brother, Alfred Rainbolt, Upton, Wyo.; sister, Helen Brown, Larned, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis is in charge of arrangements.
