Yvonne Marie Holter, 71, died Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Rapid City Regional Hospital due to declining health.

Yvonne was born to Robert and Olive Manley on September 23, 1942, in Rapid City. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; sister, Kathy; and half-sister, Robin. She was the eldest of seven siblings, Bob, Kathy (D) Jim, Mike, Becky, and Robin (D). Her best friends included Norene and Don Lantz and Norene's brother, Wesley. She graduated from St. Martin's Academy in 1960. She married Aldon (Sparkey) Holter and later they were divorced. She was a police dispatcher for 30+ years in Sturgis and later Belle Fourche. She resided with her son, Bob, for the last 20 years until declining health forced her to move into Sturgis Regional Nursing Home, Berry Unit. Her children include stepchildren, Connie of Sioux Falls and Tim of Rapid City, and children, Bob of Box Elder and Roy of Cheyenne, WY. She has 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Donations will be accepted at Kinkade Funeral Home 1235 Junction Ave. Sturgis. No services are scheduled at this time.
